There really wasn't an inn nice enough in Haven to accommodate Zanth's luxurious lifestyle, so he rented the nicest room he could get at "Pick Your Poison" and bought the things he was missing. Gare the bartender took the gold and furnished the room to Zanth's liking, in addition to assigning a wench to be his maid and servant for the next 12hrs. Also, a tailor was sent for to mend Zanth's clothes, and his equipment was sent off to the blacksmith for maintenance. A barber was sent up to his room for personal grooming and a hot shave. After relaxing in the lap of luxury, Zanth wandered throughout Hiddenhold buying drinks for the locals to pry rumors and gossip from their lips. Of everything he'd heard, from cursed mines to hill giant caves, what intrigued Zanth the most was the mention of Falamar's Locker. Captain Falamar is one of the most famous pirates to sail the high seas, and the founder of Haven. It's said he keeps all his loot in a dungeon east of the city, from where none have returned. However, it is said that Falamar himself openly challenges anyone to rob him, all they have to do is find his loot and make it out of Falamar's Locker alive. When Zanth went back to "Pick Your Poison" his private wench alerted him to an invitation from Lord Bartholomew, the pirate in charge of the coastal fort, to meet with Zanth at his earliest convenience.
*Going to do things differently. Instead of a post for each player each quest, I’ll be making one post for everybody. If you haven’t posted a lifestyle from pg. 157 of the PHB, you’ll be living a hobo’s life. If you post your lifestyle this week I’ll change your results.
